Mrs Finlayson
REPIC arrived in the North west of Scotland.
I wonder what the children are like here? However it was a long weekend off of school and all the children had gone on holiday! Luckily Mrs Finlayson the class teacher was still there and offered to take Repic home.
Mrs. Finlayson lives near another small village, so we had to travel back over the mountain pass.
She lives near this well-known castle { it’s been in lots of films}
The next day was Valentine’s day—How did my friend know where I was?
I must send a text to say thank-you. BUT Mrs. Finlayson said I’d have to stand on the windowsill as there’s no signal in the house!
We had a lot of work to do on the croft! First we had to feed Charity, the hen. Her favourite is left-over tatties {potatoes}. Can you see who photo bombed us?
Next we had to get out some hay and put it into hay bags
The next day I helped Mrs. Finlayson with the sea-wall. The bottom of the garden is being eroded because of the high tides.
We’re making steps to get down to the shore.
Now it’s back to school
